How to use the Moxo Portal
What to expect
Your Life, Your Plan will connect you with a county law librarian who will refer you to free referrals, resources, and instructions to complete your legal documents on your own. When you are ready, Your Life, Your Plan will also connect you to a lawyer for free or affordable help reviewing your documents. See more about the process here.
How to get back to the portal in the future
To get back to the Moxo Portal, you can either visit our website and click “YLYP Participant Portal” in the menu bar, or go to yourlifeyourplan.moxo.com.
How to upload a file
You can upload a file into the Moxo portal in two ways:
1. Anywhere in the chat box where you see the paperclip image, click it and select your file from your personal computer files.
2. If there is a step that requests you upload files, click on the green “Upload Files” button, then click on “browse files” where you can select a file from your personal computer files.

How to make a list of questions as you go and keep it updated
Your Law Librarian will upload a list of questions that you might have into the Files tab of your personal Flow and you can continue to add your own questions to the document throughout the YLYP process.
How to tell where you are in the process
You can see which step you are on at all times, by going to your personal Flow and reviewing which steps say “Completed,” “In Progress,” and “Not Started.”
How to correct information you already submitted
Please contact your Law Librarian in the chat box of your personal Flow.
How to see a list of all the resources I have been assigned
See the Note your Law Librarian has uploaded under the “Files” tab in your personal Flow.

See any files you or your Law Librarian have uploaded under the “Files” tab in your personal Flow.
How to ask a question or send us a message
Go to the YLYP Participant Portal on Moxo (yourlifeyourplan.moxo.com) and click on your personal Flow under the “Your Flows” tab on the Moxo dashboard. Once in your personal Flow, you can send a message in the chat box on the right hand side.
