Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Your Life, Your Plan wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the standards most often used to judge whether a website is accessible.
What we've done
Every page has clear headings in a logical order, so screen readers can jump between sections.
Images that share information have text descriptions.
You can use the whole site with a keyboard. A clear outline shows where you are.
Text and buttons have strong color contrast.
Pages work on phones and when you zoom in.
Form fields are labeled, and the sign-up form has a title screen readers can announce.
We check the site with automated testing tools and by hand.
Known limitations
Some parts of the program use services from other companies. We can't fully control how accessible they are, but we're working to improve them:
The sign-up form is provided by SurveyMonkey.
The YLYP Moxo Portal, where you work with your law librarian, is provided by Moxo.
Videos are hosted on YouTube. We are reviewing their captions.
Links to other websites and documents, such as court forms and guides, are run by those organizations.
You can read this website in Spanish using the language button at the top of each page. The program itself is offered in English for now.
If any of these get in your way, contact us and we'll help another way.
